Types of Trees

Scotch Pine:   A long time favorite of many families, this medium to long needle tree is superb at needle retention.  It's dense form makes it simple to decorate.  It's low price makes it a good buy.   We have trees ranging from 5' to 10'.

Blue Spruce:   A classic look that has been a favorite for generations of Americans.  The short blue green needles on stiff branches make it good for hanging decorations.  Somewhat prickly needles keep the cat from playing in it.  Selection of Blue Spruce range from 5' to 9'.

Fraser/Canaan/Balsam Firs:   This silver blue color and firm branches combines the classic look of the Blue Spruce and adds the scent of the tree to the house.  It has become the recent favorite of many.  A fresh cut Fraser can be put up at Thanksgiving and will last nicely through the holidays.  A great selection ranging from 5' to 11' with plenty of the 8'- 9' trees.

Concolor Fir:  These are in most ways similar to the Fraser.  You may want to ask our Customer Hosts for details. There is a limited selection this year with trees 6' - 8'.

Tree Care:  We will shake you tree to remove any field debris.  We can wrap it too, for easy handling, for $2.  Our greeters can assist you in loading your tree into the car.

At home, keep your tree where it is shady and cool.  Once in the house, water is the most important item in caring for your tree.  We have the convenient pin type stand with water bowl.  Expect the tree to drink quite a bit during the first few days tapering off by the end of the first week.
